Copenhagen · Part-time, 20 hours/week · 15 February – 15 June 2027 · Apply by 23 November 2026
The short version
Crispa is a Copenhagen-based fintech startup, with a mission to transform accounting through technology and talent, so our clients can grow their businesses with confidence.
We run the finances for our clients from day-to-day bookkeeping to management reporting, forecasting, and valuation of the company for a funding round or exit. And we are building the software platform to support this work end-to-end. From customer onboarding, to the accounting system, the accounting workflows, to the analytics tools and beyond.
We use AI for absolutely everything and strive to stay at the forefront of AI adoption. That makes us intensely curious, tireless learners who are always trying out new tools and methods.
From 15 February to 15 June 2027 we are taking on up to 5 part-time growth analyst interns.
The internship is open to all academic backgrounds, as long as you have top grades, a valid work permit, and are based in Copenhagen during the internship.
We will teach you everything we know, and then we will hand you the reins and let you show us what you can do. Not in a sandbox, but on real work with real impact.
What you will do
First, you learn our product and our methods
We will take you through a structured training program:
Crispa and accounting foundations. How the platform works and the finance/accounting behind it: what a month-end close is, how the numbers get there, why clients care. You will also explore our second main product, the Valuation Insights Database. You cannot sell, write about or onboard a client into a financial product you do not understand, so this comes first.
Problem solving. McKinsey-style techniques and frameworks to break any messy question into logical parts and turn it into a clear action plan.
AI and building. Agents, skills, context engineering, and deployment with Claude and GitHub. Even if you have never coded before, you will build and ship stuff. And you will learn how to master the use of AI across any task or workflow.
Marketing analytics. This starts with the 'bow tie' Go-To-Market framework: how we apply it, and how we track leads as they flow through our systems. You will also learn how we work with insights-driven marketing, and how our brand and design guidelines are applied across everything we do.
Sales. You will learn the basics of a good sales pitch, cold-outreach techniques, objection handling, and closing.
Training continues through the whole period, but with higher intensity in the beginning to get you off to a strong start.
Then, you do the work, across the entire value chain
Four areas, and they connect to each other:
Marketing. Turn insightful analysis into articles, blog posts and a stream of social media content. Apply SEO and GEO principles so AI assistants cite Crispa, not just Google. Turn our own data into content people want to read. Build interactive webpages, calculators and templates. Host webinars and meet-ups. Track what worked and what didn't.
Sales. Find out which companies actually buy Crispa and what problem they are tired of dealing with. Build target lists and enrich them. Write messages people reply to. Pick up the phone.
Customer success. Take a new client from signature to their first month-end close: get their data in, clean it up and stay with them through the first month. Or support an existing client through their monthly finance cycle.
Operations. Tie workflows together to make learnings and data available across the team, while keeping everything secure and compliant. In short: help us execute even better.
The goal is that you get to try practically every aspect of the work that happens at Crispa.
What we are looking for
Students who have completed at least three semesters by the start of the internship.
A strong academic record, with grades in (or close to) the top 10% of your class.
Something out of the ordinary: a side project, a student society, a small business, travel off the beaten path, athletic achievements, etc. Anything that shows initiative, drive and a founder mindset.
Curiosity about finance and AI, and willingness to say "I don't know this yet, but give me a day".
Full English working proficiency.
Your academic background can be literally anything. Our team includes people with a background in Mathematics, Physics, History, Finance, Computer Science, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship.
Writing your thesis this spring? If your topic touches finance, valuation, accounting, AI or startups, our data and team may even be able to help your research. Tell us about it in your application.
